Pictures, Paballo Mavundla ‘Sandile’ from House of Zwide’s age and business empire stun Mzansi
This week has been full of drama on House of Zwide as the Fashion week is happening, and it is the last chance for interns to prove themselves worthy of the assistant designer job. Sandile, Nambitha and Onalerona are fighting among themselves as they bring back old memories of when they sabotaged each other. Sandile has sold out Onalerona in rage to Faith in fury, which may cost her the internship.
Paballo takes the role of a young man from the township who has a dream to be a designer. He has a younger brother to take care of who is stuck with their abusive stepmother, and Sandile is their way out of their home. Sandile once had a crush on Onalerna but lost her to Soka. He can not afford to lose this internship, but despite that, he will not cut any corners or use his girlfriend, who is a Zwide, as his way to winning.
Paballo Mavundla has shown a lot of maturity in his role that most people assume he is older than he actually is. The actor plays the role of a boyfriend to an actress in her late twenties, and many would think he is older than her. However, that is not the case with Paballo, born in June 1999. The actor is only 23 years old but would pass for someone who is at least 28 or more.
