Nomcebo Zikode’s business empire and net worth stuns Mzansi
Nomcebo is one of South Africa’s leading vocalists. In 2021, she finally decided to join the business world to make more money. She also took upon the entrepreneurial role to inspire young kids who look up to her that it’s possible. Nomcebo also stressed how important it is for artists, in general, to invest in the business.
According to Nomcebo, music makes a lot of money in concise spaces of time. As the time goes by, the money depletes when it’s not reinvested. Also, she said having a business outside the entertainment industry gives you another identity. Nomcebo says she is inspired by Dj Oskido and Dj Zinhle for mastering both music and business. Today she has two impressive ranges in major retail stores in Mzansi.
Fragrance
Nomcebo owns a fragrance range that is exclusively available in Jet Stores. Her fragrance range is called Dutchess. She has a perfume and three body sprays in Glamazon, Royal Gold and Radiance range. Nomcebo says she wanted a fragrance range as it’s very close to her.
She couldn’t afford to buy expensive perfume in her younger days, but she also wanted to smell good. With those experiences, she knew there was a huge market for her perfume. She developed her fragrances for women who want to smell great on a budget. Since her range is in Jet stores, it’s available across Mzansi.

Clothing range
Still, in the Jet retail store, Nomcebo owns a clothing range with primary shorts, t-shirts and crop tops. Nomcebo chose these items to be her first as she is still testing the waters of the clothing industry. Eventually, she will grow and venture into men’s wear, dresses, denim, etc.
The intelligence of putting products in the retail space
Nomcebo made a wise decision by putting her items at a significant retailer like Jet. She doesn’t have to worry about marketing, security, and many factors. Although there are down factors like sharing profits, it saves her time; hence she can focus on her music and family.
