Multi-millionaire businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize and her musician son Andile Mpisane landed in New York City in the United States of America for the Legendz of the Streetz tour yesterday. The pair didn’t waste time and went straight to hang out with legendary Rappers Rick Ross and Nelly.
Most of the images shared by the KZN based KwaMamkhize reality star were with Ross. The Miami based rapper is not new to South Africans as he has previously visited the country and collaborated with rapper Kwesta.
Ross also shared videos of the event on his social accounts and seemed to enjoy every moment.
MaMkhize and Andile also had the opportunity to pose and take pictures with Whole Slab and Nelly.
Andile’s involvement in Legendz of the Streetz Tour
Footballer cum musician Andile is billed to perform on tour. The news of his involvement surprised many South Africans as the 20-year-old has not made hits locally. Fans thought there were better-placed artists to perform in the United States.
Andile will be the opening act at the second leg of the tour. Meanwhile, Mzansi awaits to watch his performance. The Royal AM football club chairman will be sharing the stage with Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Fabolous, DJ Drama, Trina, 2Chainz and Rick Ross.
Allegations of paying for the performance
Social media users are convinced that her property mogul mother had a hand in his call up to the star-studded show. “Her mother will buy him an island one day,” a tweep commented, while others laughed at jokes that South Africans could wake up one day to see Andile as president.
South Africans expected the like of Kwesta, as he has worked on projects with Rick Ross, or Nasty C as he is known in the US.
