South African actor Ntando Mncube has become a household name from the time he played his role as Apollo in Side dish. His acting career is fast rising, and he has become one of the most sought-after Zulu actors in South Africa. Mncube is constantly landing roles and rarely out of work in his acting career, and fans love him for it.
Mncube’s role as Mhlengi in Isifiso
Mncube has been holding the role of Mhlengi in the hit series Isifiso for the past weeks, and fans love him for it. He brings to life the role of a poor man who makes his living by heading cattle and is constantly belittled by his mother-in-law. Recently his wealthy brother-in-law offered him a job in his many shops so that they live together with his wife, who was living in the city taking care of her niece and nephew after her sister died.
However, Mhlengi’s wife has packed his bags and thrown him out as she lusts after her bereaving brother-in-law and wants to be the lady of the house. Given that Mhlengi knows that Bazo, his wife killed her late sister and has threatened that he will not take the rejection lying down.
Ntando Mncube graduates from DUT
Ntando’s former workmate and fellow cast member on both Durban Gen and The Wife, Thulane Shange, took to Instagram to share the good news on behalf of the actor and congratulate him. Mncube graduated from the Durban University of Technology a few days ago, and Thulane was more than happy to publicly congratulate the other actor.
Mncube was part of the 2022 graduating class of the Durban University of Technology from 11 July to 20 July. In 2008, Ntando Mncube was part of the DUT graduation class when he earned his Diploma in Drama and Production studies. After pursuing a career in acting, he took time to further his studies and study for his Degree at the same school.
Pictures of the actor at the graduation ceremony these past days have flooded the internet as he posed with fans and wore his graduating regalia. Many of his fans and fellow entertainers have taken to Thulane’s comment section to congratulate the actor on his graduation. We’re stunned at how he got time to study while busy with the many roles he has landed these past years.
