Dupped as the next big thing on Mzansi’s small screens, Thami Mngqolo ghosted Mzansi’s small screens leaving many wondering about his whereabouts.
He undoubtedly had his fair share of glory when starred in the star-studded Generations cast. Best known for his on-screen character as Senzo Dlomo. The celebrated actor was cast in the drama series in 2003-04, son to Sibusiso Dhlomo and stepson to Ntombi Dhlomo.
No doubt his on-screen romance with celebrated actor Zolisa Xaluva who starred as Jason thrust them into the spotlight. They kept viewers glued to their screens.
However in the mix of things he dumped the drama series in the eleventh hour after he was sent packing with the rest of the cast after they protested in demand for salary increment. Well since then we haven’t heard a lot about him. He hasn’t been so active on social media platforms leaving many worried about his whereabouts and even if he is dead or alive.

After the bubbly actor is alive and keeping his life under wraps away from the public spotlight. Confirmed reports have it that he has since switched the floor to sports presenting and directing. Rumour mill has it that he also doubles as an MC and event organizer.
However, of interest is the fact that she was once married to The Estate and Scandal actress Jo-anne Reyneke. The couple did tie the knot in 2008.
The two have been coparenting well with their two children after they called it quits in 2018. Years back the bubbly actress took a dive into the much-publicized separation on the Fresh Breakfast barely nine months after their fallout.
“Because he is a great guy it’s very easy to be a co-parent with him. He’s a wonderful guy, a great dad, a good friend to me; he still thinks I’m funny, just that as partners it wasn’t working anymore.”
She explained: “Whenever you get to feel in a relationship like ‘maybe I deserve more’ or ‘maybe I’m not what you deserve’ it’s time to part.”
