Cassper Nyovest is celebrating his birthday today. The day conceded with his Billiato Private launch, the day he introduced his liquor brand to the world. Cementing his place as one of the wealthiest rappers in the industry, Cassper spent big for his big day as he looks to close 2021, a year that could turn to be his most successful.
Cassper Nyovest’s 2021 wins
The Nokuthula singer is ending 2021 in a high. He started two businesses during the year, despite the difficulties almost everyone is experiencing. He made long strides and signed deals that could potentially be the largest in his career.
Root of Fame
Cassper signed an R100 million deal with shoemaker Drip to design, produce and market his Root of Fame sneaker dubbed the RF990. The sneaker has been doing great on the market, and today Cassper announced he had sold over 30,000 units. Translated into figures, the recently crowned Hip Hop artist of the decade and Drip made revenue totalling R29,7 million.
Billiato Private launch
The rapper combined his birthday with the launch of his whiskey brand Billiato. The name is derived from his belief that he will be a billionaire at some point in his life. The musician previously promoted Ciroc, a French vodka, and often had other artists throwing shade at him for promoting other people’s businesses.
Boxing match
Cassper will fight in a boxing ring, an event that he has always worked towards for years. After unsuccessfully trying to fight Aka and Prince Kaybee, he finally convinced hop hop commentator Slik Talk to fight him for an R200,000 purse. Slik Talk thankfully agreed and announced he was doing it for the money.
McLaren
Don Billiato, as he calls himself now, capped a good year by buying a McLaren luxury car for himself. After collecting it from a dealership, he showed off the vehicle to his fan yesterday.

The Cassper Nyovest birthday celebration
Black Coffee is the main act at Cassper’s Johannesburg home, where the celebrations are happening. He chose an all-white theme and decorated his house with a sizeable Billiato name design peeping over his roof.
Earlier in the day, Cassper asked his fans on Twitter to nominate one top fan that he would sponsor to grace his birthday party.
