Legendary actor Rapulana Seiphemo is famous for playing the role of Tau Mogale on SABC 1 soap opera Generations The Legacy. Seiphemo dumped Generations to join The Queen cast, where he plays Senior Police officer Hector Sebata who is in a relationship with Harriet Khoza –The role played by Connie Ferguson.
Unceremonious exit from Generations The Legacy
His role was written off the Generations The Legacy script after gross misconduct; Rapulana and his ex-wife, a fellow work college Zoe Mthiyane had a major fallout leading to soapie exit. Zoe, who played Zitha Langa on Generations, caught his husband cheating with the soapie’s administrator Zandile Tshukulu and went off the rails. It is reported that Zoe went into depression and turned to alcohol abuse, hence becoming difficult to work with and being fired from the soapie. Rapulana was shown the exit door for misconduct, which he accepted and moved on with his new lover Zandile Tshukulu.
After Generations The Legacy exit, Rapulana turns to his former Generations lover Connie Ferguson the owner of Ferguson Films, for a role on The Queen.

The couple had a rocky start, with Seiphemo losing his Generations gig for dating Zandile, his boss Mfundi Vundla’s granddaughter. Since the Generations exit scandal, their relationship went from strength to strength, expensive vacations, shopping sprees and candlelit dinners. The two single parents have mastered how to keep their moves under the wraps; it is alleged that a traditional wedding is on the cards in mid-year 2022.
His relationship courted critics who compared Zandile to Zoe, while some tagged Tau a gold-digger after Mfundi Vundla’s fortunes despite all being rosy.
