Pictures: Euphonik “fakes” apology WhatsApp text from rape complainant
In a bid to clear his name following rape accusations that were thrown out of court, Euphonik has “faked” WhatsApp messages from the lady who laid rape charges against him.
Earlier this month the National Prosecutors Association dismissed the rape charges laid against Euphonik and DJ Fresh as there was no evidence. However, that has not stopped the friends from speaking about the matter and trying to defend themselves.
Euphonik took to Twitter to share what he claimed was an apology from the rape accuser. Euphonik captioned the tweet, “On a serious note. Before things really get out of hand. Can this girl’s family and friends help her before she hurts anyone else or herself? Unfortunately, my sister you’ve said, done and damaged way too much to expect any level of help from me.”

The message sent on the screenshot read, ” Themba I’m sorry for what I did to you and DJ Fresh. The people who made ms do this are turning away from me bc the lawyers want to push this further and the truth will come out but it was all a lie and I don’t know what to do bc nyani I’m scared I’m going to be arrested. Journalists are calling me everyday. Please forgive me”.
Euphonik did not remove her number from the screenshot. He went on to send a screenshot of verifying her identity using TrueCaller to prove his case. However, this was in violation of an earlier agreement with his lawyers that neither party should discuss the incident in public. However, Namapree rushed to deny she ever sent him any message. She highlighted that since Euphonik, Themba Mbongeni Nkosi, had not removed her number from the screenshot, people had been calling her and texting her and harassing her. She stated that she will be suing him for all he has been saying.
Earlier in the month, DJ Fresh, Thato Sikwane, also posted that an aunt of hers had called him, choosing to remain anonymous, but said that she knows she is lying about the allegations. However, her family released a statement refuting that any of them had been in touch with the DJs.
The DJ continued to post jokes nonchalantly which aggravated his audience. On the list of people calling him out was Boity Thulo.
“You’re being a vile asshole. This is not a joke!!! You’re being accused of the most violent crime and you’re turning it into a shits and giggles circus! Either confess or let your lawyers handle this. But what you’re doing here on Twitter is disgusting!” she said.
