Jeftha is a South African actor famous for playing SJ’s role in the M-Net telenovela Legacy. The actor was born in Capetown in a small family of 5. Jeftha studied BCom in Finance, Economics and Information Systems at the University of the Western Cape, but he did not graduate; instead, he switched to studying drama.
After graduating with his degree in Drama, Jeftha relocated to the United States of America for greener pastures. While in the USA, he struggled to make ends meet, resulting in him working as a waiter for 18 months. He later got a job in Hollywood, but life abroad was not as easy as he thought. Jeftha recently relocated to South Africa after bagging a gig at Legacy, playing the lead role of Sebastion Junior.
“While I was away, I always dreamt of returning home to be part of an exceptional production. I was waiting for the right storyline, accompanied by a high-quality production. And I could not have waited for a better show than Legacy. The quality is top of the range, and the cast is phenomenal, which forces one to strap up and perform at a higher level”., said Jeftha in his interview with Blacklight.
