A look at Harriet Khoza and Hector Sebata’s white wedding that left the world awestruck
Mzansi Magic drama series The Queen wowed Mzansi and Africa at large when it aired what seems to be dubbed as “the wedding of the century”. No doubt wedding bells rang last night, and bubbly actress Harriet Khoza, a character played by Connie Ferguson and on-screen lover Hector Sebata played by Rapulana Seiphemo said ‘I Do’.
We can all agree it was more than a wedding. The showrunners gave Mzansi yet another glamorous wedding. In the wake of all soapie weddings we can all agree that the Ferguson Films have mastered the art of bringing on-screen drama to reality.
In recent months Harriet’s relationship has been marred with drama, but they defied all odds and tied the knot. Hector did the unthinkable when he dumped Vuyiswa to be with Harriet. Harriet paid back the favour by chasing Uncle Brutus away in the mix of things.
To silence their haters, they exchanged vows in a stunning wedding ceremony. It was an extravagant wedding that has since hogged headlines in tabloids. The world at large fell in love with Harriet’s wedding gown, a masterpiece.

What stunned Mzansi when it came to Connie Fergusons’ gown was that the gown perfectly fit her body. Sis, its long trail made the difference. It was more than stunning and has since flooded social media. On the other hand, Hector looked fabulous in his designer suit.
No doubt the showrunners have the plug and know how to turn up the heat. Multi-award-winning musician Lira entertained the guest, and her smash hit Phakade saw her thrusting into top trends. Of interest is that Harriet Khoza, a long-time friend from The River Lindiwe Dikana character played by Sindi Dlathu, was amongst the wedding guests.
The wedding also introduced us to the return of Loyiso, played by Kagiso MacDonald and Shaka, played by SK Khoza. However, Mzansi was confused about whether the two were back for good or not. A few months ago, it was reported that the two were exiting the drama series.
Rumour mill has it that the two are now shooting their exit scenes since they have already jumped the ship and bid farewell to The Queen.
