Dupped as one of the greatest midfielders to have ever come from, Mzansi Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s footballing career will go down in the history books of South African football. Best known as Yeye, the talented midfield maestro made all sorts of headlines a year ago. In 2021 Reneilwe Letsholonyane left Mzansi awestruck when he announced his retirement from the beautiful game of soccer.
In a viral video that flooded social media, Yeye shared a video where he had gathered all his jerseys for all the clubs he’s played for on the ground and was sighted leaving. No doubt he hagged his boots in style. However, in the mix of things, he threw his soccer boots in the sky – signalling the end of an illustrious career.
Well, in the wake of his retirement, he has been heavily involved in pitch football. However, despite keeping his private life under wraps, he let Mzansi sneak into his personal life thanks to the Nedbank Football Reality series where Brian Mathe hosted him.
Of interest is that the Kaizer Chief legend dived his stint with Amakhosi, his defining moments, his foundation and his money choices during his illustrious career. In the mix of things, he even revealed that he used his signing-on fees to extend his family home in Meadowlands, Soweto. Yeye had a million-rand switch when he was signed by Amakhosi back then in 2008.

Well, his mansion was implicated in the mix. Just like several footballers before him, he lives lavishly. His mansion is fit for a king. It boasts high walls and a green lawn. The footballer even uses his backyard for light training sessions. The compound also has a swimming pool. After all, Mzansi is yet to confirm how many rooms the house has.
The double-storey mansion is painted in cream and has several big windows to compliment its architectural design. It has elegant staircases and a huge balcony. The mansion has several chandeliers that drop dead from the high ceilings.
He hasn’t shared much of his sitting or dining rooms. But judging from clips on Instagram, the house has several artefacts hanging on the walls. It has designer couches. Reports have it that it has an open-plan kitchen. After all, just like several athletes before him, he has a personal gym at his mansion for light exercises.
