Pictures: 68-years-old Gogo nabbed for ‘killing’ her ben-10
Recently a 68-years-old gogo appeared before the courts of justice for allegedly killing her estranged ben-10. It was established that the gogo was allegedly tried to kill her ben-10 by hacking him with a hand hoe. The accused appeared in the Mkhuhlu Magistrate courts.
She was asked not to plead on the charges of the murder of Richard Kgoedi(45). However, Magistrate Ayesha Kikia indicated that the matters being levelled against her were of great magnitude. She indicated that 6 counts were being levelled against her.

In the wake of this daring and tragic incident, the Oakley community and Mzansi are still in shock. However, at the point in time little is known what really transpired or what led the gogo to commit the offence.
Despite all that coming into play, it has been established that gogo confessed that she attacked her ben-10 with a hand hoe. Well, rumour has it that the 68-years-old gogo assaulted her ben-10 then dragged his lifeless body outside his house.
Richard Kgoedi was pronounced dead by the paramedics upon arrival on the scene. The police indicated that the matter is already under investigations and are still waiting for forensic evidence. The case was postponed to Thursday 22 April.

However, this comes in the backdrop of a controversial sentence that left Mzansi talking. Recently a South African gang ring was sentenced to 15-years behind bars for stealing R100.
Despite having a high crime rate less than 13% of crime perpetrators are nabbed and put behind bars. In the wake of these daring statistics. No doubt the sentence left Mzansi talking after two criminals were sentenced to 15-years behind bars for stealing an R100.

What left Mzansi talking was the sentence. In South Africa, some high profile cases have been cleared of the hook or given lighter sentences despite being big cases that demand heavy sentences.
Well according to the state papers the two thugs were nabbed after they took R100 from the victim who was sent to buy bread. The boy was on his way to buy bread on a local spaza when he was manhandled with the two thugs.
Earlier this week Nigel Regional Court sentenced Godfrey Nhlapo (20) and Tumi Tsotetsi (19) to 15-years each for aggravated robbery. However, it was established that the robbery which was before the courts happened in July last year.
