Television and radio personality, Pearl Modiadie welcomes baby.
Even though she did not reveal the sex of the baby Pearl was gushing over the child on Twitter saying: “I’ve longed for you. To finally have you here feels incredibly surreal… a feeling only my soul can deeply comprehend. Welcome to the world my love…the purest of hearts. You’re perfect in every way. Your father and I love you dearly.”

Pearl hid her pregnancy for a good 6 months before two of her team members leaked the news to Sunday World.
As a result of the leak, Pearl was forced to confirm the news.
Sunday World, who first broke the news of Pearl’s pregnancy, also revealed that the baby’s father is a French international who specializes in online trading.
Pearl Modiadie is well known to lead a very private life and does not mix her private life with the public space.
There were also reports the French national intended to pay damages to Pearl Modiadie’s parents as per African culture.
When asked for a comment by the publication at the time, Pearl Modiadie confirmed that she was pregnant but declined to discuss her pregnancy any further.
“Out of respect for my culture, I prefer not to talk about my pregnancy,” said Pearl Modiadie as quoted by the paper.
Early this year Pearl was left heartbroken after she learned from social media that her show Zaziwa has been silenced by the SABC.
