Parents left in shock after a trusted Zimbabwean tenant kidnapped their daughter
A woman was left in shock after her tenant vanished with her four-year-old daughter as she had trusted her all along.
The mother, Mmamoya Thelejane used to let her tenant take daughter Relebogile to the shops without her worrying about anything. She has learned the hard way as one of her tenants disappeared into the thin air with her child.
The parents said the name of the tenant was Thabisa, and is believed to be from neighbouring Zimbabwe.
Thabisa left with her daughter last Friday saying she was visiting her employer to collect her salary.
Mmamoya said she did not return and when they tried to call her but the number goes straight to voice mail.
She is fearing Thabisa might cross the border into Zimbabwe with their daughter and chances of seeing Relebogile again would be reduced.

“We fear she might cross the border with our daughter and we may never see her again.”
said Mmamoya, who lives in Makause squatter camp in Germiston in Ekurhuleni.
“It didn’t worry me. I trusted her,’ she said. We lived with her boyfriend for years and she came to join him in January.
Relebogile’s dad, Molapo Khamo said Thabisa was friendly and he never thought she would do something like to them.

“We fear she might cross the border with our daughter and we may never see her again,” he said.
Mmamoya said her daughter was wearing blue jeans, a cream white T-shirt with the word “Awesome”, pink and white tracksuit top and with braids on her head.
According to Daily Sun, Thabisa’s boyfriend was arrested but later released as there was no evidence linking him to the kidnapping. They opened the case at Primrose Police Station.
