OUTsurance clarifies how Katlego Maboe and Nikita Murray met
OUTsurance has clarified how Katlego Maboe and Nikita Murray met.
In a video that went viral last week, Katlego mentions that he cheated on Monique Muller with a woman named Nikita Murray.
Twitter FBI quickly established that Nikita Murray was an employee of OUTsurance but the company has come out to dispute that. OUTsurance says Nikita last worked for the company in 2018.
The insurance company says the two met independently and not in any relation to OUTsurance.
Outsurance spokesperson Natasha Kawulesar also clarified the nature of their relationship with The Expresso Morning Show presenter. She said that Katlego Maboe was not at anytime an employee of the insurance company. She said Katlego was not contracted or a permanent employee of OUTsurance but hired as a professional actor who was paid per campaign he was booked for.
She added that Katlego was fully compensated for past campaigns including the current campaign. The compensation includes performance and usage fees for the whole campaign.
Katlego’s estranged wife Monique Muller is yet to issue a formal statement on the issue. She will however appear in an interview in the next episode of the YouTube channel GoBinge show. It appears that is where she will give her side of the story.
In the tell-all interview, Muller says she met Katlego at COCO night club in Cape Town. She mentions that they started dating after a one night stand. She also mentions the abuse she has suffered at the hands of Katlego adding that she has a restraining order against him.
She also says that Katlego is a devoted and loving father. It remains to be seen if Katlego Maboe will survive this scandal.
