“Our beef was exaggerated,” Cassper Nyovest visited Forbes Family after AKA’s death. As per Sunday World’s report, it appears that rapper Cassper Nyovest visited The Forbes family after the demise of his rap rival, AKA. The rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, who passed away on February 10 after being shot on Durban’s Florida road, was mourned by Cassper, who reportedly went to the late rapper’s residence in Bryanston, Johannesburg, to pay his condolences.
During his visit, Cassper reportedly informed the family that his rivalry with AKA was blown out of proportion and that they had a good relationship. The high-five evidenced this they exchanged at the Hip-hop vs Maskandi soccer game, where hip-hop emerged victorious. A source disclosed that Cassper apologized for his inability to attend the memorial and funeral due to a business trip. The source revealed:
“Upon arriving, Cassper Nyovest relayed to AKA’s family that the highly-publicized feud between him and AKA was exaggerated and that they act along well and share a similar vision. He then expressed his regret for not attending the funeral because he was flying out of the country for a business engagement.”

According to the publication, Cassper was warmly received into their home, whereas the family reportedly ignored Moses Tembe’s request to attend the funeral. It is alleged that when he reached out to them, they informed him they were preoccupied. Reportedly, the Forbes were hurt after hearing that the Tembe family intended to take the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to court for not pursuing charges in the case of their deceased daughter, Anele Tembe.
However, it was previously reported that: The Tembe family is said to be initiating legal action against the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) by bringing the case to the High Court. This move follows the NPA’s failure to disclose the documentation that resulted in their decision not to pursue charges against the deceased rapper, Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, in connection with the death of Anele Tembe.
Last week, it was reported that the Tembe family’s lawyer believes that the rapper, not Anele Tembe, caused her to fall from the balcony of their hotel room at the Pepper Club hotel in Cape Town. The report comes after the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided not to pursue murder charges in the case this week. The lawyer is confident in this decision.
