When it rains, it pours, and as much as ordinary people have tough times getting by, our celebrities also have their fair share of life’s struggles. In 2019, Ntombi released a public statement before rumours of her divorce rumours with musician Heavy K further spew. She maintained mutual respect between her and the father of her two children, and the decision to divorce was a mutual one. It was sad seeing them part ways as they showed great couple goals releasing music together and showing up in matching outfits sometimes.
Ntombi on Heavy K’s toxicity
Ntombi Ngise tagged her ex-husband Mkhululi Heavy K Siqula on Instagram with a long, emotional and thought-provoking caption. Ntombi told him and her followers that she is barely coping whilst co-parenting with Heavy K. Their son with cerebral palsy, an incurable disease that usually lasts a lifetime, is not on medical aid. The 6-year-old boy also seems not to have a wheelchair. Heavy K is an African superstar DJ who charges R100 000 for a feature, and he gets a lot of gigs that pay him thousands per performance, but the DJ only sends R5000 for child support which seems rather unfair. Ntombi also mentioned that her ex-husband discouraged her from working during their marriage, and the decision crippled her ability to provide for her children. Heavy K allegedly accused Ntombi of prostituting her body for money. Ntombi said she would do anything for her kids since Heavy K is barely doing anything for them. She said when she raises these issues with him, she is labelled a psycho by the DJ. Ntombi also alleges her ex-husband is rude to her.

On the voice note, Heavy K is heard sarcastically telling Ntombi’s mother that he doesn’t want to talk to Ntombi about anything, he’s a busy man, and that’s why he can barely provide immediate answers to them. Could all of the things Ntombi is saying about Heavy K be true?
