Congratulations are for the model, actress and presenter Ntando Duma. She will be hosting a reality dance show called Dance YoDumo; the name is quite catchy considering the presenter’s surname, Duma, which means be famous. Dance YoDumo means the famous dance. February will be the month the show airs on our screens, and we’re eager to see the freshness Ntando will bring to the show.
Ntando’s presenting skills
Many people know Ntando as the actress who played the role of Zinzi Dandala, a wealthy high school pupil who had a troublesome life. People don’t know that she broke into the entertainment scene as a presenter. She presented the youth television programmes Craz-e and Craz-e World Live, and both were on eTV. She was so good on screen that she landed herself multiple auditions for acting.
Ntando’s energy
Ntando has incredible energy; the way she speaks and memorizes her lines whilst keeping audiences engaged is a beautiful skill. Her personality is vibrant, and her energy is always at the top.
Her event hosting experience
After her Craz-e jobs, she didn’t present any other television shows, but she’s been hired to host numerous private corporate events. She has never hosted an award ceremony, but she’s capable.
Ntando’s acting
Ntando initially acted on Rhythm City, her character bought something fresh for the screens, but she left the show for her individual growth in the industry. Many people thought she wasn’t a good fit for the soapie as her acting was not standard with her other cast members. She then landed the role of Mpho Sebata on The Queen in the year 2020. Currently, she’s dubbed as a person with minimal acting skills.
Better presenter than an actress?
As a presenter, she faced zero negative criticism, and her energy was immaculate. Perhaps acting is not her most vital point. For a show like Dance YoDuma, she will be funky, energetic and magnetic for the viewers. South Africans were thrilled at the news, and many wished her well for the new show.
