A few weeks ago, Bukiwe Keva got fired from her role as Asanda in Gomora, and things looked so bad for her, before heading to enjoy in Zimbabwe. Rumour mill has it that Bukiwe got fired through a Whatsapp message after failing to report to work. Bukiwe later said she was sick and even produced the Doctor’s medical report, but that did not help her. Bukiwe lost her job like that, but she is already utilising the opportunity.
Usually, when one loses their job, especially celebrities, they go for some recovery phase where they stay behind the camera living a private life with their family. Bukiwe is not like that; she is like a hardcore lady who played on Gomora. She doesn’t have time to worry about losing her job. Asanda is doing what Asanda does best, bullying the situation, crushing lemons and making lemonade. Asanda took off to Zimbabwe’s famous Victoria falls and had the fun she deserved.

It seemed Bukiwe had been so busy shooting scenes at Gomora, and she wanted some time off. Despite being a supporting actor, Bukiwe did a lot of work and, in the process, became a fan favourite in Gomora. She worked closely with veteran actors like ‘Xolisa Xaluva’ Melusi, the school principal’ and Gladys ‘Thembi Seete’, the school counsellor.
Now that Bukiwe left Gomora, she has all the time in the world to live her quiet life. She took off to Victoria falls in Zimbabwe, where she lived her best life. Victoria is one of the world’s largest waterfalls along the great Zambezi river at the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Bukiwe popped up in a grey safari outfit that fits the Zambezi area. She toured the falls taking beautiful pictures and videos of living Mzansi impressed. Indeed, there was no better way to regroup and refresh than being at the Victoria falls in summer.

On Gomora, Asanda was a Gomora High School bully that constantly clashed with popular girls like Sibongile’ Nandipa Khubone’ and Gugu’ Velile Makhoba’. She became the talk in many families because she was a pain to most fan favourites in Gomora.
Asanda reminded many fans of wresting icon Randy Orton who got famous by playing dirty to fans’ favourite John Cena. She was that character, and she got many fans to love her in the process.
