Nikita Murray Responds To Katlego Maboe Cheating Scandal
The cheating saga involving Katlego Maboe keeps getting thicker by the minute with a Twitter account purportedly belonging to the woman whom he confessed to cheating with addressing the issue.
After being cornered by his wife Monique Muller, who accused him of cheating on her and infecting her with an STI that she says has minimised her chances of getting pregnant again, Katlego dropped a woman named Nikita Murray as the one he cheated with.
Through her lawyers Vincent Bergh of Liquor Law and Business Consultants, Nikita and her husband, Matthew address allegations that she infected Katlego with an STD.
While the statement is not explicit on whether she cheated with Katlego or not, the fact that she underwent a test to prove she did not have an STD is suggestive of the fact that she did have an affair.
Part of the statement issued by Nikita’s lawyers and published by Sowetan reads, “Due to these allegations, Mrs Murray had undergone a medical test to confirm that she has no sexually transmitted disease. The claims by Mr Maboe that Mrs Murray was the cause of him contracting the STD as accused of by the person who made the video, is therefore irresponsible and impossible.”
In the statement, Nikita and her husband state that they have dealt with the effects of what they term “the malicious video.” The couple adds they remain happily married and that their marriage is stronger than before.
The lawyers go on to thank “all their family and friends and the public who had supported them during these trying times.” Nikita and her husband end the statement by saying they hope the statement will set the record straight and help them avoid any future harassment.
The woman who reportedly works as an Outsurance employee addressed the video of Katlego via a Twitter account in her name saying it has caused nothing but pain to her and her family. She added that she will be issuing an official statement today through her lawyers. Nikita requested the video of Katlego naming her to be put down and for people to stop retweeting it.

According to a Facebook profile in her name, Nikita like Katlego is also married as well and has even shared pictures with her husband in the past.
This is not the first time Katlego has been embroiled in a cheating scandal. In 2016 he cheated with Lorna Maseko who was married at the time. Whilst Katlego broke up with his girlfriend at the time, Lorna went through a divorce.
There have been calls for SABC 3 to drop Katlego as host of the morning show Expresso and for Outsurance to distance themselves from the media personality following the latest cheating saga.
