Sibonelo learns that actions have consequences as he loses all he has built
In the previous episodes
Sbu is in prison for the death of Nomzamo. Sbu was introduced to his new status as an inmate. Nkunzi gave him an earful about taking responsibility for one’s actions. The accident that led to Nomzamo’s death has led to dire consequences for all the distillery partners.
It could have all been done differently, but the route they chose had disastrous consequences.
Mondli shuttered Njezas dreams of leaving prison. Nonka invited Mondli to come and talk on behalf of Njeza to get early parole, but Mondli felt that Njeza was not ready to be out there with the public. When Njeza realizes that his time in prison has just been extended, he decides to deal with his attackers once and for all. He gave one of them a beating from hell and then found out that the person calling on the attacks on him was Nkunzi.
Nosipho is his ex-wife’s daughter. Njeza must now live looking over his shoulder the whole time because he knows those guys won’t take what happened lightly.
Mbatha has created a terrifying idea in his mind. He sees an opportunity to create a new church since the old church burned down. He goes to MaDongwe and MaDlala for help. Will they help him?
Coming up on Thursday’s episode
MaDongwe and MaDlala reject Mbatha’s new church idea. They know about him all too well. Mbatha has been dishonest, and he nearly destroyed MaDongwe’s heart. He is a thief, and he can’t be trusted; what’s more, he doesn’t do anything without expecting anything in return. They know him all too well.
Njeza receives the revenge he anticipated, but it’s more severe than he thought. The guys stab him this time. Njeza needs an intervention quickly. Otherwise, he might end up meeting his maker before he leaves prison.
It looks like Sibonelo buried Bhebhe distillery with Nomzamo. He has lost it all: the land, the distillery and his dreams.
Uzalo Season 8 begins on Monday, the 4th of March. We say goodbye to the old and hello to beginnings with new cast members with new and exciting storylines on Friday.
