No doubt Wendy Gumede is winning big this year. Best known for her stellar performance as Nolwandle on the now axed Mzansi Magic drama series Isibaya. The actress who doubles as a content creator, comedian, and scriptwriter recently bagged a gig on Scandal.
On Scandal, she works for the new family, the Kubeka’s. However, she stars as Rachel, a cashier at the waste management company. Well, she’s endearing, warm and friendly and very easy to fall in love with, something Vukile found hard to resist.
However, she is best known for her gigs on Magic Bullet (2013), How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding (2020) and Isibaya (2014). Of interest is that she was directly involved in the scriptwriting of the productions during her previous gigs. On Isibaya, she scored her gig, but she was initially part of the scriptwriters but jumped the ship to be on the small screens rather than working behind the camera.
