The Strings and Bling album has become the very first Hip Hop South African Album to be streamed over 20 million times on the popular music app Spotify.
Nasty C has been very loyal to Hip Hop only, and it’s a rare event. South Africa, as we know, has been taken by the Amapiano storm. Many artists, including Hip Hop stars such as Focalistic, Riky Rick and Cassper Nyovest, have collaborated with other Amapiano producers to create great symphonies.

Nasty C has developed a fervent following as a Hip Hop star. His sound has transcended to international markets because of the Hip Hop collaborations across the seas.
The Strings and Bling album has some heavy hitters in the Hip Hop scene around the globe featured on it. The likes of A$AP from Manhattan in New York City in a song called King
He worked with DJ Maphorisa and Major Lazer on a track called Particular.
The young man is fast becoming a legend; he has worked with great people on his Zulu Man With Some Power project. He featured Lil Keed and Lil Got on his track called Bookoo Bucks on one of his tracks.
Nasty C has also worked with the one, and only Ari Lennox on a Black and White song recently featured on the Coming 2 America soundtrack. The two even performed it on the famous Ellen DeGeneres show.
As you remember, Ari Lennox created a spectacle in early January when she got embroiled in the now infamous interview on Podcast and Chill.
We are happy that Nasty C has chosen to be headstrong and stick only to what he knows best.
