Nasty C makes acting debut on Netflix’s Blood and Water

South African rapper Nasty C is set to appear on Netflix show Blood and Water that is streaming on Wednesday 20 May 2020.

Netflix South Africa posted a number of images for the coming show Blood and Water on 6 May. The show is directed by Nosipho Dumisa and part of the cast include Gail Mabalane, Natasha Thahane, Cindy Mahlangu, Dillon Windvogel, Thabang Molaba, Ama Qamata, Arno Greeff, Nasty C and breakout star Khosi Ngema.

Blood and Water Story line

The story is set at the prestigious inner-city school for Johannesburg’s elite scholars and academic overachievers, Parkhurst College. Blood and Water follows 16-year-old Puleng whose impulsive personality allows her to orchestrate entry into the school, in hopes of investigating the case of her older sister, who was abducted at birth and whom she has never met.

Netflix has done an African original before, Queen Sono, which stars South African actor Pearl Thusi.
