Nandi Madida sets record straight on LUX story
Nandi Madida has taken to social media to set the record straight concerning a news article that she and her manager are currently at loggerheads over R3.7 million owed to her.
The article states that Nandi’s alleged manager almost got away with over R3 million of her money that she earned as the ambassador of LUX.
In addressing the issue Nandi confirms that summons have been issued. Nandi says the person involved is not her manager but an agent who worked for Unilever. She says, “I can confirm a summons has been sent this week from my legal team to an agent who worked on the LUX campaign for Unilever Thamsanqa Fakazi (known as Amaru Da Costa) from Ade Holding Propriety who was not my manager, and has never been my manager as his company is the agent of this campaign. He has been issued with a summons for outstanding money he has not paid me from the LUX campaign, as the ambassador.”
Nandi indirectly says Thamsanqa or Amaru was paid the full amount by Unilever but failed to pay Nandi her dues.
From the @SundayWorldZA story I can confirm that due to outstanding money a summons has been sent from my legal team to Amaru Da Costa (Thamsanqa Fakazi) an agent who works with Unilever on the LUX campaign. He is not my manager&has never been my manager as the headline suggests. pic.twitter.com/ngoYENTEY6
