Gomora actress Leera Mthethwa ‘Miss Jackie Hlungwani’ stuns Mzansi with her recent pictures, viral on social media. 31-year-old Leera plays the role of Miss Jackie Hlungwani in the Mzansi Magic telenovela; her role in Gomora is a no-nonsense school teacher who is very intuitive when something seems to be wrong with her students. Jackie Hlungwani had a close relationship with Principal Melusi Dlamini and served as a fortress that held the school together when the head was arrested.
Miss Hlungwani stands in as the head of Gomora High, waiting for the arrival of the new Principal Nkosinathi Cele, the role played by Fezile Makhanya.
There is no doubt that Leera has become a fan favourite and instant hit since her debut in Gomora season one. She joined the Gomora cast as an extra and earned the leading character after putting up an exceptional performance.
