A fight broke out at MMC between James and Azwindini and Moipone’s body fell out of her casket.
Last night’s episode of Muvhango was nothing short of disturbing. The sky has fallen for Jane’s Motsamai since his mother’s passing and he is not handling it well.
Moipone was killed by Khumo in prison and James had been using unusual ways to run her funeral.
Firstly he did not want people to come and support the family and kept telling people to leave the family in peace.
He did not allow the African process of dropping the mattress for the period of morning and kept running away from his responsibilities as the chief mourner.
Last night James disrespected Azwindini when he objected to the decision that James made of holding Moipone’s funeral service at MMC. Azwindini suggested that James look for another venue or perform a cleansing ritual after the funeral as MMC is a place of business.
James told Azwindini to shove his objection where the sun doesn’t shine and called him a fornicator,in front of Susan’s and Hangwani and then proceeded to throw him and his entourage out of his house.
Azwindini decided to go and block the funeral procession to come into MMC and James lost it. A scuffle broke out between him and Azwindini and the bodyguards tried to intervene but it was too late, because Moipone’s casket fell to the ground with her body inside.
The truth is Azwindini is right. MMC is a place of business and also Moipone was not an employee at MMC, that means nothing connects her funeral to that building. James doesn’t have the right to close MMC doors without consulting his partners and shareholders and those include Azwindini who is also a stakeholder at MMC.
James has completely turned his mother’s funeral into a circus.
It is clear that James and Azwindini are going to war over MMC now,because James has declared it, and it looks like a new rivalry has begun now that Tenda is temporarily out of the picture.
The funeral as we left it last night had gone to the dogs and now they all have to deal with the disaster of getting the body back into the box and finding a venue that is acceptable to run this funeral.
