Although they play a happy polygamous family in Mzansi, Mseleku’s wives are not united as they pretend to be. In a recent episode of uThando Nes’thembu, MaKhumalo invited her sister’s wives to her Umembeso ceremony (Traditional Wedding). To her surprise, her two sister’s wives, Busisiwe MaCele and Nokukhanya MaYeni, blue-ticked her invitation.
Mseleku’s first wife, MaCele, gave an excuse not to grace the ceremony because it involved Musa Mseleku. In her own words, she said:
Thank you for the invite. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it because the event includes Musa Mseleku. If the event didn’t include Musa Mseleku, I would attend it. I’m not going because I’m done with wedding events
On the other hand, Nokukhanya, the second wife, is not showing up at Makhumalo’s Umembeso ceremony because the ceremony is not for her. According to her, she is giving her sister’s wife the privacy she needs on her Umembeso.
“I won’t be able to come. The reason for that is not because I don’t want to support you, as you always do when we do events for Mseleku. But my understanding is that the person having the Umebeso is you. If you’re being gifted, it’s your event, not mine,

Makhumao has been supporting her sister’s wives through thick and thin, and she hoped that they would do the same for her. However, she was surprised that MaCele and Nokukhanya wanted nothing to do with her Umembeso ceremony.
