Musa Keys sure is the man of the moment, as he is trending every week because of his music career. The Selema hitmaker has been making big moves in the Amapiano music industry, and the world sees and celebrates it with him. Musa Keys shared that the MTV Europe Music Award show gave him his flowers as he received a nomination for their Award show.

Taking to Instagram, Musa Keys shared with his followers that he has been nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award at this year’s show. The artist, in his post, says that this is the biggest highlight for his career in 2022 and goes on to appreciate his fans for their support and for lifting his music. He urged his fans to vote for him and shared a link where the voting platform in his Instagram bio.
The Award is for the Best African act and he has been nominated alongside Black Sheriff, Tems, and Zhuru. The Award show will be held at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany. It will also be broadcast live on MTV channels. The show will take place on the 14 of November from 2100 on MTV Base. Voting, however, will close on the 9th of November, and it has been opened today.
Other artists were nominated at MTV EMA this year.
International artists like Harry Styles dominate the Award show this year, leading the pack with six nominations. Beyonce and others follow close behind with five nominations. Tems has been making waves in Africa and is nominated for two awards that night.
Musa Keys’ recent Award and other nominations
The musician won the prestigious Award of the night at the SAMAs Award show last month when he took home Record of the Year. He has also been nominated at this year’s AFRIMA Award show and has an International Award nomination under his belt. Other South African musicians nominated and won at that Award show are Master KG, Freshly Ground and LCNVL.
