Murewa man murdered father and aunt because his manhood had disappeared
A man from Marumisa village in Murewa murdered his father and aunt because he claims they were using juju on him. Denford Nyamande allegedly told his wife what he was going to do before committing the crimes. He was arrested on the charges of murder on Tuesday in Seke.
Maria Makoni (41) who is Denford’s wife reports that her husband’s manhood had disappeared when he committed the monstrous act. Denford blamed his now deceased father and aunt for bewitching him.
“He came home and found me herding cattle but we did not spend much time together. Instead he just took off his pants and showed me that he no longer had his manhood. Denford was hurt and was questioning if he still deserved to be called a man after losing his private parts.”
“He then gave me US$10 to support his child and buy soap. Immediately, after he left. In my head I just assumed that he had slept with someone’s wife and the husband fixed him. Now the whole village is against me thinking I was aware that he would kill his aunt and father.”

“I have been with Denford for eight years but he has never showed me a harsh side and I was stunned to hear had killed his father. Denford married me with my own three children from the previous marriage and he never frightened or assaulted me.”
“I have taken the matters to the kraal heard because one of the villagers is threatening to kill me accusing me of covering up the murder. I was at my parent’s house when I received the shocking news that Denford had killed my father-in-law,” she report to H-Metro.
Villagers are angry with Maria Makoni for failing to disclose the murder arguing that it could have saved the aunt’s life.
