Multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize joins etv soapie Durban Gen
Celebrated business mogul and actress Shauwn Mkhize is topping the trends after it was confirmed that she was joining etvs drama series. Confirmed reports have it that she has apparently joined the star-studded cast of Durban Gen and is already on set with the rest of the cast.
Rumour mill has it that she will join the drama series as a cameo actor, just like the SABC1 drama series Uzalo. A close source to the publication revealed that:
“She got a cameo role just like what happened on Uzalo. She started shooting last month. “
Another source revealed that she has been part of the cast for a month and will make her mich-awaited debut in October.
However, not so long ago, the celebrated business mogul rubbished claims that she had joined the drama series.
“There were clashes with her schedule as she is a busy woman. And she had to postpone her shootings, but she comes when her schedule allows her to do so. The plan is for her to appear in October. She won’t stay long as her role is a cameo.“

In the wake of her denial, the show’s spokesperson is singing from a different hymnal. Nomfundo Zondi has since confirmed the news of MaMkhize joining Durban Gen. She revealed:
“Businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize has ventured into acting as she has joined Durban Gen.“
She went on to revamp that her debut is slated for October, just like the source said. However, little is known about her on-screen character in the mix of things. After all, Mzansi awaits for drama capped with thrills as she bounces back on small screens with a cameo role on the medical drama series Durban Gen.
