Tinah Mnumzana has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest with an illustrious career spanning decades. Currently, she is nailing her on-screen character of Flora in Mzansi Magic’s drama series The River.
Since its debut, the River has been wowing us for four seasons with its intriguing storyline and plot. Furnished with a seasoned cast like Sindi Dlathu, who stars as Lindiwe Dikana, the drama series has fast become that telenovela we all love to hate.
The celebrated actress was cast as Flora, a housemaid to the Dikana’s. Flora reports to Lindiwe Dikana, the most influential business mogul with diamond interests just outside the Refilwe community. However, in the backdrop of its newfound fame Flora has fast gained Mzansi’s appraisal.
However, her storyline is not just a housemaid but a mother too. Of late, she has been struggling in accepting her son’s homosexuality. However, the bubbly actress quickly accepts that her son is gay in the mix of things.

Of interest is that she was part of Generations starstudded cast that was axed after a salary protest back then in 2014. She has also starred in soapie operas like Muvhango, 7de Laan and Soul City. It seems she has managed to get her spark back with her Flora character.
