Mona Monyane bags new gig on Mnet telenovela Legacy
In a bid to bolster its already existing seasoned cast Mnet telenovela Legacy has tagged Mona Monyane on its cast. The Mnet telenovela is one of the most followed drama series which boast a seasoned cast capped with awards.
However to those who might not be familiar with the show Legacy is a classy, first-of-its-kind South African telenovela set in the fast-lane world of investment billionaires. At heart, it is a story about a family at war with itself.
The seasoned actress took it to social media to announce her new gig. Taking it to Instagram Monyame shared a picture flanked with former Isidingo star actress Cherrell and Mrs Sibeko better known as YV from Scandal.
The bubbly actress expressed how excited she is to be given such a great opportunity. However, no doubt she will wow Mzansi with her brilliance. Her debut is slated for April 15.
It didn’t take time before Mzansi weighed into the comment section with congratulatory comments. The comment section was flooded with comments of appraisal and good luck.

However, she joins a host of seasoned actresses who has bagged new roles in several telenovelas. She joins the likes of seasoned fitness bunny Khumalo who recently bagged a gig on TV.
Of late celebrities have thrust into stardom and landed big money-move gigs on TV. Fitness bunny Juanita Khumalo joins a host of celebrated celebrities who has bagged TV gigs.
In the wake of her new gig, she is one of the hosts for the fourth season of 5 Colour Fitness: Safari Edition, which started on Monday, 5 April on SuperSport Variety 4(DStv channel 209).
However, Juanita took it to Instagram that she will be gracing our screens as a presenter and host on SuperSport. She said she has been working on a special project and is glad to finally share it with people.
The bubbly personality will be starring alongside fitness trainers like Angela Gresham, Anver Alexander, Lelani Loots Potter, Lucas Mthenjani, Talitha Van Dyk, Liezel van der Westhuizen, Lucky Fadzi, Christy Ann, Zinhle Masango and JP van der Schyff.
