Moja Love is launching a new show called Mzansi’s Tycoons, and it is a show that will focus on local entrepreneurs.
Moja Love is known for all the great local content and reality shows they have given the viewer.
The show will be hosted by the channel’s CEO and TV mogul Aubrey Tau.
In a statement released by the Moja love social media pages today, 26 January 2022, the show was influenced by how much businesses have suffered for the last two years. This is due to the Covid19 pandemic and the looting situation the previous year in South Africa.
The show will profile businessmen and women from all walks of life and what they had to go through to enjoy the success that they are enjoying now.
Mzansi’s Tycoons first episode will focus on taking their Moja love viewers on a journey of discovery into the building of the sneaker brand called Bathu.
Mr Tau will talk to the Bathu sneaker CEO Theo Baloyi who started the journey in Alexander township after realising that the African continent doesn’t have its sneaker brand.
“This has been long coming, and this is the perfect time to launch. The show will inspire those who aspire to start their businesses and illustrate that nothing is impossible if you set your heart and mind to it,” Mr Tau said
He also spoke about how entrepreneurship by nature takes hard work and determination.
Mr Ray went on to talk about how entrepreneurs go through hiccups at first or along the way, but the most important thing is how one rises out of that situation and tries again should things not work out as planned.
In their press release, Moja Love says we can expect more entrepreneurs like Portia Mngonezulu of Portia M Skin Solutions and Mbali Nokwo, the CEO of Green Terrace, amongst others.
The show will be airing simultaneously on Channel 157 and its sister channel 158, which is on Dstv access at 22h00.
The page also firmly stated that Mr Tau believes that the consumer is never to be taken for granted or undermined because they are brilliant and pay their hard-earned money to support these businesses.
