Somizi and Mohale began the year with divorce rumours flying. The couple is barely on each other’s social media and always travel separately. In the most recent episode of their drama, Mohale went on holiday in Cape Town without Somizi. The missing ring was hard to not notice. Mohale has removed his wedding ring from Somizi. Mohale shared his vacation pics captioned

Mohale has neverSomizi spoke about their relationship problems with Anele Mdoda on air. The TV personality stated that every couple has its rough patch and theirs is in one. Should they decide to separate, he wikl separate that they managed to walk away from the toxic situation. In a video last year, Somizi discussed how Mohale is always on his phone which also contributed to their problems.
I told him that him being on the phone all the time, and for me I found it to be too self-serving. If you are on Instagram or Twitter or Facebook, you are taking pictures, selfies, and I wish I was that phone to be touched like that. Then he says you are always on your phone and I realised I became that person because when he became silent in the relationship, I was like, let me also go to my phone
Rumours were that Somizi was having an affair with his best friend, Vusi Nova. However Vusi Nova came out to deny the allegations.
“I have known Somizi for 16 years. I met him before I even got into the music industry. He’s so real and supportive. People out there are saying that we are dating but we’re not dating. We have mutual respect for each other and we trust each other a lot. With us, it’s realness all the way. It’s been 16 years now and we’re still going strong.”
