Barely a year after their lavish wedding Tv personality Somizi Mhlongo is set to lose millions of rands in a nasty divorce with husband Mohale Motaung. The True Love magazine power couple has been making all sorts of headlines from cheating allegations, Mohale’s cellphone addition to divorce rumours.
It seems divorce is on the cards. Rumour has it that Mohale Motaung’s legal team has served Somizi divorce papers.
From the looks of things, Somizi will be counting loses as Mohale is entitled to half of his properties and business interests. If it happens that there wasn’t a prenuptial agreement Mohale will be entitled to half of the assets the two acquired.
A prenup is a written contract entered into by a couple prior to marriage or a civil union that enables them to select and control many of the legal rights they acquire upon marrying, and what happens when their marriage eventually ends by death or divorce?
According to reliable sources, divorce is in motion between Somizi and Mohale who have seen their marriage crushing due to a lot of allegations.

South Africans were surprised after Somizi blasted Mohale for not being there for him. Many thought the celebrated entertainer was pulling up drama but it seems as if he is done with Mohale for good.
Of late Somizi has distanced himself from his arrogant partner Mohale. On New Year’s eve, the speculation about the much-awaited divorce was evident. Somizi dumped Mohale and had a night with Vusi Nova leaving masses to wonder if the two were still together.
In recent months Somizi has been seen distancing himself from Mohale to an extent of Mohale leaving their matrimonial home. Surely divorce is looming.
Mohale has been castigated for marrying Somizi for financial gain. in this marriage labelled “The Great Moale Heist“, Mohale secured a few deals, including brand ambassador roles and even played a role on Rhythm City.
