Born Nomakula Roberts on 16 December 1982, Kuli Roberts introduced herself to fame when she appeared on SABC2’s ‘What not to wear and SABC1’S ‘The real Goboza as a co-host. Since then, Kuli Roberts’ career has grown by each day, accomplishing so much at a very young age. Kuli Roberts lived so early that she became a grandmother at 34 years. Rumoured to be dead several times when she was not, Kuli Roberts has died.

Kuli Roberts started working at a very young age. She formally started her career as an Editor of Drum Magazine on Fashion and beauty. She also worked as a columnist with Sunday world in those early days.
From 2004 till 2005, she was a TV host on SABC2, and from 2008 to 2009, she co-hosted SABC1’s gossip show ‘The Real Goboza’, replacing Dineo Ranaka before she became a host on Mzansi Magic in 2010. Her career path is one people in the industry dream of while in their twenties.
In her thirties, Kuli Roberts joined Kaya FM as a co-host in 2012. The following year she featured among other celebrities in the sixth season of the SABC3 reality show ‘Strictly come dancing. During her last days on TV, Kuli Roberts hosted the Daily talk show Trending SA on SABC3.

Kuli Roberts and Beyers Roberts got blessed with two beautiful children. Later on, Kuli Roberts and Breyers Roberts got divorced, and the couple kept the reasons secret. Kuli Roberts and her ex-husband maintained a good relations even after the divorce.

In the turn of events, Kuli Roberts made headlines when it was revealed that she would be contesting as a candidate for Local government elections representing African Transformation Movement (ATM) as Councilor forward 65 in Tshwane.
Later on, Kuli Roberts lost her job as a result of being involved in politics. She later shunned the claim that she was involved in the political party. “I never signed up to be a counsellor for ATM,” said Kuli Roberts when she was explaining how she lost the job. She noted that ATM’s chief of policy and strategy, Mzwanele Manyi, was only telling lies.
