McGyver from Durban Gen doubles up as a musician
Mxolisi Majozi, popularly known as Zuluboy, is a South African actor, presenter and hip-hop artist currently playing MacGyver on the new drama series Durban Gen. The actor despite having to face trolls addressing him as unkempt, he does not led it dull his shine.
The SA hip-hop artist is one of Mzansi’s mystifying obscurities in the genre. Vanishing into thin air for a minute, he embraces a whole new path which sees him doing musicals. The Nomalanga hitmaker has at one point cast as a lead in Tsotsi: The Musical. His dexterities always leave fans spellbound.

Wow! It was never going to be too late for this song. Well done!
The hustling musician-cum-actor is killing two birds with one stone in his new role on Durban Gen. Not your usual paramedic, Majozi takes on the role of MacGyver and is in love with his music. Cheerful as ever, the actor is one to never mind the trolls.
Social media trolls have forever and a day been on the actor’s case and have mocked his personal hygiene. “There is this perception that I don’t wash. Recently, I was told that I don’t take a bath because I am saving water. That did not bother me,” he says.
