Masego Video South Africa: A video about Masego has been the at the centre of every conversation yesterday in South Africa. A video emerged that was reported on social media to feature the character.
The Masego in question is not linked to Masego the musician.
Our publication investigated about the issue and found it was nothing but fake.
It turned out the video was a hoax, or an April fools joke. South Africa was disappointed. The video in question was posted on explicit websites over a year ago.
One twitter user revealed: “Thank you to everybody that stuck with us and the twitter investigation team. We have found the original video with all the meta data. It was all a hoax.”
The Tweet was send with a link to the actual video on the explicit website. Someone also posted on Twitter:
