Kapfupi and his producer DJ Shugeta have announced they will no longer be working with Marabha as he is now a burden because of his illness and the insults they have targeted at him over money contributed towards his hospital bills and well being.
Speaking on Facebook Live Shugeta said, “The problem is there are people who think we are abusing Marabha’s money. There have been reports that Shugeta is now using Marabha’s money for personal gain. There are people like Mawindow and Passion Java who are accusing me of using the money.”
“There are other people who have donated huge sums of money and other donations but they have not come forward to talk a lot about it. Some even asked us not to disclose their names. There is a lady who gave us a car. All long i have been using my money and car to help Marabha. There is a woman who gave us a car to use because Kapfupi’s car is a fuel guzzler and he cannot use it for the trips. She gave us a Mercedes Benz and she even refused to have a picture taken with her,” DJ Shugeta continued.

“Passion Java only bought a bed but there are people like Mai Titi who have paid a lot of money to have Marabha hospitalised. I asked Majalima. Kapfupi’s brother to account for the money and he has been the one receiving it. For your own information i was using my funds and i realised i couldn’t do it anymore and realised we had to go back to the fans to get assistance. So my self and Kapfupi we will no longer work with Marabha, and those criticising us should work with him. We have done a lot but all we get are insults. So its is better just to leave him so that our image is not soiled. Marabha is still to recover and honestly he can’t speak properly,” DJ Shugeta continued.
Kapfupi also said the same as he felt he is being wrongfully accused for looting Marabha’s funds.
