Shauwn Mkhize, the businesswoman and philanthropist, also known as MaMkhize, hosted over 40 family members in her mansion over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was one of the most beautiful celebrity family reunions as there were three generations together celebrating Christmas under one roof.
Christmas Eve
On the 24th of December, Shauwn started posting online snaps of her and her family getting comfortable and getting in synch with the Christmas spirit. The kids played various games with toys, and some played in Andile Mpisane’s daughter’s life-sized dollhouse. The adults were in light fabric clothing, singing karaoke and chatting. Later on, the family had a big photoshoot wearing luxurious animal print silk pyjamas.

Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, Sbahle Mpisane was busy with the pots, and MamKhize showed a video of the dining tables and table decor. We didn’t get a glimpse of what exactly was eaten, but we’re sure it was expensive. Later in the evening, there was more dancing and more singing. The song Forever Young was sung a lot by MaMkhize and her sister.
Boxing Day
On Boxing Day, the three generations were transported from Shauwns LaLucia mansion to an orphanage, giving the children gifts and food. It was a beautiful initiative to give back in the season of giving.
MaMkhize’s mood
The businesswoman kept speaking about how whole her heart was during the festivities. Her body language was relaxed, and her conversations were light. Singing and dancing were things we saw most of in her mansion.

Things to celebrate
The family had a lot to celebrate and to be thankful for. The fact that Sibahle Mpisane is still alive and recovering, the fact that Shauwn’s company has been successfully operating for over two decades now, that Andile was blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby girl, that the family has a daughter-in-law now called Tamia Mpisane and that they are still alive despite so many people passing away in the country.
