Shumani “Masala” Lawrence Mulaudzi, the rumored lover of celebrated singer Makhadzi, has filed a lawsuit against notorious entertainment blogger Musa Khawula for tarnishing his reputation. Khawula, who is no stranger to legal troubles from various celebrities, has angered Mulaudzi, who is not a public figure, by calling him a “dangerous thug” on X.
Khawula went too far by linking Mulaudzi to a gang in Thohoyandou known as Tshisole, and claiming that he was involved in a shooting that killed one of the gang members. On his blog, Khawula posted on December 29: “Meet Makhadzi’s dangerous thug boyfriend, Masala Mulaudzi.
Masala Mulaudzi is a member of a thug group called Tshisole in Venda. The Tshisole thugs own a place called Jerusalem. Last week, one of the Tshisole thugs called Target was shot and killed while in a meeting.” Mulaudzi was outraged by the post and sought legal action against Khawula.
He sent him a letter of demand, marked “extremely urgent”, on December 30, asking him to retract and apologize for the defamatory statements within 48 hours. He also lodged a criminal complaint against Khawula at Camps Bay police station in Cape Town.
