South African curvy actress Lungelo Mpangase has been winning big in the acting industry since she has not been out of work for some time. The actress keeps jumping from role to role and getting a pretty penny from her hard work. Before that win has died down, Lungelo Manganese has landed another good role and will join The Wife’s cast for the show’s third season.
Lungelo Mpangase as Poppy in Lingashoni
Currently, Lungelo Mpangase is making waves with her role as Poppy in Lingashoni, where she lives a double life. To make more money from her job, Poppy joined the secret club where the waitresses are stripping and pole dancing for wealthy men. Her boyfriend, a manager at the establishment, had no idea what his girlfriend was up to and just recently found out.
Poppy is outed to her family, who are very judgemental, and she regrets choosing the stripping path to make extra cash. Besides, Lingashoni Lungelo is known for her lead role in Mzali Wami, where she plays the role of a woman kidnapped when she was a baby. Besides that, she is famously known for the role of Khethiwe that she played in eHostela, which made her a household name.
Lungelo Mpangase to play Xoli in The Wife
Lungelo Mpangase seems to have landed yet another role, as the actress is rumoured to be part of the cast of The Wife. With the new cast members joining the show, Lungelo Mpangase will also find a new home playing the role of Xoli. Her role will be that of one of the Zulu brothers, who is a sniper, Sambulo’s love interest and will be with the cast for the rest of the third season.
In The Wife’s third season, the Zulu family will finally meet their match in Naledi’s family as they are equally powerful. The love story of Qhawe, played by Kwenzo Ngcobo and Naledi, played by Gaisang Noge, will take centre stage as viewers walk through the ups and downs of the couple. A new powerful family will be added to the mix, with seasoned actor Sello Motloung playing the patriarchal head of the Montsho family and Naledi’s father.
