Londie London, the former Real Housewives of Durban star and singer, has confirmed that she split with her businessman boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga.
Mabonga was put on police watch in hospital on Saturday morning after a gunfight at the Tempo nightclub in Sandton.
Londie London, whose real name is Londiwe Zulu, began dating Mabonga in July last year after a nasty breakup with the father of her two children, Hlubi Nkosi.
On Saturday morning, while Mabonga was battling for his life at the Mediclinic private hospital in Morningside, Londie London told Sunday World she dumped him.
“Please don’t ask me anything about that guy. We broke up. Don’t ask me when. “Call him for all your questions.”
The shocking news came just a month after the couple was seen having a good time at Konka nightclub in Soweto.
The lovebirds were blamed for bad behaviour at the club after they reportedly attacked a female journalist.
After his hospital admission early yesterday, Sunday World learnt that Mabonga has been placed under police guard for various issues including the assault of the journalist.
He was reportedly shot in the ribs after a dispute turned violent at Tempo leading to a gunfight between him and another customer.
