President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared the coronavirus pandemic a national disaster. Resultantly, he has suspended all national events and all public gatherings.
He said that churches and weddings or gatherngs of more than 100 people have been banned for the next 60 days.
The ZITF and Independence celebratins have also been cancelled. He also said that Schools shall continue operating until they close for the April holidays adding that opening dates will be announced in due course.
