Lithapo Professor Actor Israel Makoe Death Reports: Manager Denies Actor Is Dead
Israel “GP-MaOrange” Makoe who portrays the character of Professor in Lithapo has responded to news doing the rounds on social media that he died.
Over the weekend, social media users claimed the actor and musician had died after he was killed by armed robbers.
A number of his fans were left shocked and confused as to when the actor had died.
This is not the first time Israel Makoe has been declared dead on social media. The incident happened before in 2018 and again in 2019.
In an interview with a local publication, his manager Isaac Mangena said they were shocked to hear the actor was dead.
He said that Israel was not dead but very much alive. He added that he believes someone wants the Lithapo actor to die in real life because they keep killing him on social media.
Mangema jokingly said the person probably wants Israel to die because they want Rasta to misdraw him at his funeral. He dismissed the rumours of the Professor actor saying they were not true.
The actor’s manager said the people who were spreading the news that he was dead were bored and loved drama to the extent that they are making up stories.
MaOrange is working on new music which he will release soon, God willingly.
In the past two months, he has released two Amapiano tracks Imbokodo and The Testimony, featuring Mr VIP. He said that he was tired of getting calls from people enquiring if he had died for real. He said people should just let him be.
