Patson Dzamara, an opposition political activist died yesterday after a battle with colon cancer. USD 14,000 had been raised by well wishers out of the required USD 28,000 for his operation but he passed on ahead of the procedure. One Twitter user, known as Dr Cde Adamski posted an audio of one of Dzamara‘s last words of encouragement as he rallied the people to continue fighting for freedom.
My brother thanks or those encouraging words. I also have dep regards for you and your style. We are all disappointed but my brother the journey continues. We will certainly get through and we are going to reclaim te glory of our contry in our lifetime. We are going to sail through. Don’t lose hope because we will certainly sail through. keep pushing. thank you for your support and everything. Don’t stop because the journey continues.”
