Rapulana Seiphemo played Hector Seibata on The Queen, and he did justice to his character as he is a proverbial beast. Hector was a high-ranking police colonel with a penchant for the narcotics trade and father to Thando Seibata, played by Jessica Nkosi. The character of Hector was involved in a love triangle with Vuyiswa and Harriet, which caused his death. His character was the backbone of the telenovela The Queen, as he would do anything to keep fans glued to their screens.
In a colourful ceremony, Hector married Harriet, a drug-trading superintendent and later realised that Vuyiswa was his soulmate. Hector decided to amend his mistakes and surprised Harriet with divorce papers.
The divorce issue did not sit well with Harriet, so she hired assassins to eliminate Hector and fooled everyone into thinking that she was innocent. Well, Harriet knows how to get away with murder and Hector was buried kissing goodbye to his role.
The exit of Hector from The Queen left many heartbroken as they were impressed with his acting prowess. Since he departed from The Queen, Mzansi has been asked questions about his whereabouts, and we have managed to connect the dots about what the actor is up to.
Where did The Queen star Hector ‘Rapulana Seiphemo’disappear?
After Rapulana Seiphemo‘s character was killed on The Queen, many hoped he would resurrect in other television shows. Their assumptions are wrong as the celebrated actor is currently not portraying any character on television.
In August, Rapulana Seiphemo, with his family and friends, were spotted in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Rumours are he took a break from acting to stay in Zimbabwe with his family. During his interview with radio broadcaster Ezra Sibanda, Rapulana expressed how he was jovial to be back in Zimbabwe. The actor pointed out that Zimbabwe is his second home, and has visited the country many times.
I once stayed in Plumtree Zimbabwe and many pipo were shocked to see me there. I would struggle to walk in the streets. They were like he looks like Tau from Generations The Legacy
but it later became a norm that i was also a normal human being like them and they loved me for who l am.
Other unconfirmed sources indicate that Rapulana moved to Zimbabwe to resurrect his career as a lecturer. It looks like he was hired at an expensive institute in Zimbabwe, which is paying him twice his salary from acting.
