Today she has yet again broken barriers as Uncle Waffles announced that she had landed her first radio job on BBC radio and not on a local radio station.

Uncle Waffles took to her Instagram stories to share that she finally landed a job as a radio DJ, and it is on BBC radio. She has joined the BBC Radio 1 resident DJs for September with Aha da dream, while others like Skream, Joseph Capriati, Helena Hauff and Eliza Rose join for October and November.
The radio station is an international radio station, and Uncle Waffles be playing there, bringing the Amapiano rhythm to the world on a large platform. This is her first radio gig as she has not held one on the local radio channels; Waffles has been used to playing in clubs and shows.
