Lerato’s and DJ Zinhle’s friendship
Lerato and Dj Zinhle have been friends since 2017, when Lerato decided to try out DJing after being a model and tv presenter. The friendship was solid; the two were seen in various events together and had numerous pictures. Like many celebrity friendships, they mysteriously stopped being close and left fans wondering what happened between the two.
Lerato’s wedding
Last year the DJ, tv personality and businesswoman Lerato Kganyago got wedded to her tycoon husband, Thami Ndlela. It was a beautiful ceremony held at Lerato’s family home in Boksburg, the East Rand. On the wedding day, Lerato made two outfit changes; a blue sishweshwe dress with a matching headwrap and a traditional green dress with another matching head wrap. Celebrities like Somizi Mhlongo, Mohale Motaung, Major League DJs, and Dineo Ranaka attended the wedding, but many fans wondered why Dj Zinhle was not there. Sometime after the ceremony, Lerato released a statement saying, “Due to Covid 19, we had to limit the number of guests, so we only extended invites to several family members.”

Recently Dj Zinhle was a guest on Talk with Toke Makinwa, a talk show on Honey Africa TV. When Toke asked Dj Zinhle why she wasn’t present in the star-studded wedding, Dj Zinhle replied and said, “I didn’t know she was getting married, and two, she forgot to invite me.
Lerato’s reason why Dj Zinhle wasn’t present
On Monday, Lerato Kganyago was a guess on MacG’s famous podcast, Podcast and Chill. MacG is not one to shy away from controversy, and a lot was uncovered on the show. Still, when MacG asked why Dj Zinhle was not a guest at Lerato’s wedding, she expressed disappointment because her friendship with Dj Zinhle was once so solid that she considered her a sister. She also said that she sent Zinhle a DM, the DM was seen, but there was no reply. Lerato then thought she wouldn’t be attending because she didn’t respond.
